Nomination forms to be scrutinized on November 12

Bhopal: A total of 4 thousand 157 nomination forms were filed for Vidhan Sabha Election-2018 between November 2 and 9, 2018 for all the 230 assembly constituencies of the state. The nomination forms will be scrutinized by the Returning Officers on November 12.
Candidate, their election agent, one proposer of each candidate and one more person authorized by candidate in writing can present at the time of scrutiny of the nomination forms. Nomination forms will be scrutinized by the Returning Officer one at a time and video of scrutiny will also be made for transparency.
A brief enquiry will be conducted by the Returning officer in case of objection before taking any decision in this matter and the nomination form will be declared as valid or invalid.
If objection is raised on the nomination form of any candidate then the returning officer will postpone the hearing of the objection till 11.00 a.m. of the next day on application of the candidate for its rebuttal.-Window To News
