2899 candidates in fray from 230 constituencies in Vidhan Sabha election 2018

40 candidates aged 25 in election fray
Bhopal: There are 2899 candidates contesting in the 230 assembly constituencies in the assembly elections 2018 in the state. While 2644 are male candidates 250 are female candidates and remaining five are others. Among them, the oldest candidate who is contesting election is Khangar Nirbhay Singh from Silvani assembly of Raisen district. The oldest female candidate is Meera Nanaji Samreete, from Lanji assembly of Balaghat district. In addition there are about 40 candidates of 25 years who are the youngest candidates in fray.
