Assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to relatives of deceased employees
Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer V.L. Kanta Rao has expressed grief over the demise of Kunwar Singh Dabur and Kamal Pargi in Dewas in an accident during election duty yesterday. Sub-engineer Dabur and constable-710 Pargi were crushed to death while on election duty at the SST checkpost near Nahar Darwaza Rajouda square in Dewas when a truck no. MP 06 HC-1782 turned over at the SST team camp checking point. Both the injured were rushed to district hospital M.G.H, Dewas immediately, where doctors declared them dead.
Late Dabar aged around 32, was a resident of Nawalpura village under Kasrawad police station of Khargone district while Late Pargi around 35, belonged to Bhedli village under Shivgarh police station of Ratlam district. Their bodies have been sent to their ancestral villages immediately with full honour.
Chief Electoral Officer V. L. Kanta Rao has instructed to provide an assistance fund of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of deceased Dabur and Pargi. Instructions for giving immediate assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the family members has been given to Collector Dewas.-Window To News
