4 thousand 589 weapons seized in state

Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer V. L. Kanta Rao has informed that after imposition of Model Code of Conduct, prohibitory action has been taken against one lakh 64 thousand 934 persons for law and order security from October 6 to November 18, 2018. During this time 54 thousand 117non-bailable warrants have been issued. In addition, 4 thousand 589 illegal weapons have been seized and 2 lakh 61 thousand 592 weapons have been deposited in the police stations.
Nearly 18 lakh 76 thousand 437 cases have been registered under property defacement out of which action has been taken in 18 lakh 21 thousand 345 cases. 13 lakh 94 thousand 459 cases of government property defacement have been registered in which action has been taken in 13 lakh 59 thousand 456 cases. Similarly, 4 lakh 81 thousand 978 cases have been registered under private property defacement in which action has been taken in 4 lakh 61 thousand 889 cases. In the same period, 13 thousand 351 cases have been registered for misuse of vehicles.-Window To News
