650 companies of Central Security Forces and 33 thousand home guards deployed in state

Bhopal: As many as 650 companies of Central Security Forces have been deployed for law and order and peaceful voting in Vidhan Sabha Election -2018. Along with this, 33 thousand homeguards coming from outside the state will also be deployed in election duty.
In Balaghat district, 76 companies of Central Security Forces have been deployed, 24 in Bhind, 19 each in Chhindwara and Morena and 18 each in Sagar and Bhopal. 85 percent of the police force has been deployed in the state and 90 percent of the home guards have been deployed in election work. One helicopter each will be deployed for safety arrangements at Balaghat, Mandla and Bhopal. For better communication, 20 satellite phones and 28 thousand wireless sets are being used in the election.-Window To News
