Governor pays homage on Anniversary of Bhopal Gas Tragedy

Bhopal: The Governor Anandiben Patel has paid tribute to the deceased on the anniversary of Bhopal Gas Tragedy and prayed for a speedy recovery of victims suffering from physical and mental ailments.
Patel has said that the Bhopal Gas Tragedy has attracted attention of all the countries towards environment and industrial security. She further mentioned that the government should publicise information about the relief and protection besides its related diseases among the local people before establishing such industries, taking lesson from the world’ s biggest gas tragedy happened as a result of chemical gas leak on midnight of 2 and 3 December 1984 at the Union Carbide Company.
Moreover, the Governor stated that concrete arrngement should be made to stop recurrence of such accident in future.-Window To News
