Counting to be held in presence of 230 observers

Bhopal: Counting of votes will be started by Returning officers from 8.00 a.m. at 51 counting centers for Vidhan Sabha Election 2018. As many as 230 observers have been deployed constituency wise. Before counting, strong rooms will be opened in presence of Collector/Returning Officers, Observers and Candidates/Agents.
Counting will be held in 306 halls for all the assembly constituencies. Total 3220 tables have been placed for counting in these halls.
In 154 assembly constituencies, counting will be held in 1 room (14 tables) whereas counting will be held in 2 rooms of (7-7 tables) in 76 assembly constituencies.
At an average counting will be completed in 22 rounds. Maximum 32 rounds in assembly constituency no. 208-Indore-5 and minimum 15 rounds will be held in assembly constituency no. 86-Kotma, district Anuppur.
Approximately 15 thousand officers/employees including reserve workers have been posted for counting. A total of 3 randomization will be held for counting workers. The first randomization has already been completed 7 days before the counting. The second randomization has also been completed 24 hours before the counting in presence of observers and third randomization will be held in the morning of counting day in presence of the observers and assembly constituency wise tables will be allotted to them.-Window To News
