Bhopal: Haryana Governor Prof. Solanki in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and Rashtra-Rishi Nanaji Deshmukh Birth Centenary Lecture Series in Jabalpur
Conditions in the society and the country would change and positive change would come through adoption of Integral Humanism given by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya. Haryana Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki said this in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and Rashtra-Rishi Nanaji Deshmukh birth centenary lecture series in Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya at Jabalpur.
Governor Solanki said that there is need to change ourselves as per the changing time and conditions. The time would reject you in case of not doing so. The governor said that Deendayal Ji's integral humanism is the need of the time. He said that good governance cannot be without good people. Any system depends on the governing people and how they are. He said that the country got independence but the dream of total freedom cannot be materialised.
The governor said that if education does not groom personality totally, its utility comes under the question. He said that internal development of a person is needed. He said that a person needs to be neutral in every condition according to the Geeta. Krishna taught the lesson of 'Anashakti' to Arjun in Kurushetra. If we see in this context, Integral humanism of Pt. Deendayal Ji is relevant today. He said that there would be freedom in the real sense only when mindset of the people would change. He underlined women empowerment. The system should be in the interest of poor and welcome them is required. The head of the government should prove that people living in this governing system are members of his family. Governor Prof. Solanki explained different between western thoughts and integrated philosophy of India.
Higher education, public service management and public grievance redressal Minister Jaybhan Singh Pavaiya said that obtaining post is not criteria for credibility. But it is needed to be fit on the people's trust. He said that Integral Humanism is a nature of India. Pt. Deendayal Ji felt the pain of the last man of the queue and gave the philosophy to help him first. He asked youths not to be self-centric but should have concerns for the neglected and backwards. Be vigilant to discharge duties for the country.
Secretary of Deendayal Research Institute Atul Jain also addressed the programme. University vice-chancellor Dr. Kapildev Mishra delivered welcome speech.
