Bhopal: The Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that India is perhaps the only country, where administrative officers get diversified experiences during their service. Diversity of experiences thus becomes their real capital they themselves become a reservoir of knowledge towards the end of their service. He said that it is worth considering how how society and the State can draw benefits of their knowledge and experiences.
Kamal Nath was addressing farewell function of outgoing Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh at Mantralaya here today. Nath commended the remarkable services of the outgoing chief secretary saying that Singh served the state with utmost nost dedication. His contribution will always be remembered, he added.
Speaking further, Kamal Nath said that administrative officers should always keep in mind about achievement and fulfilment and set goals accordingly. He stressed on the convergence of the two saying that administrative service must strive for the fulfilment. In a ligheter vein, Nath said that said that every administrative officer retires but retirement of politicians is decided by the people.
The Chief Secretary B.P. Singh praised Kamal Nath for his vision, straightforwardness and clarity of thoughts. He said that Kamal Nath is a politician of clear vision. The Chief Minister presented gift to Singh.
The Additional Chief Secretary Prabhanshu Kamal conducted the programme. All the senior officers were present. The Principal Secretary General Administration Rashmi Arun Shami proposed a vote of thank. -Window To News
