Bhopal: Urban Development and Housing Minister Jaivardhan Singh has issued directions to provide second and third installment, after first installment without delay to beneficiaries under Prime Minister Housing Scheme. He said that strict action will be taken against the concerned officials for dereliction in this matter. Framing of Madhya Pradesh Lift Act and increasing honourarium of civic body representative will be considered. Singh was carrying out departmental review at Mantralaya today.
Minister Jaivardhan Singh said that there is huge delay on the name of evaluation under the prime minister housing scheme and beneficiary face problem. That's why unnecessary delay should not be done in paper work. Second and third installment should be given easily. Singh asked to prepare proposal for increasing honourarium of president, vice president and corporators of civic bodies and the government wants that elected representative should have respectable honourarium. The urban development minister asked to curb stray cattle specially cows. For this, he asked to frame policy for opening cow shed in Nagar Panchayat or incentive policy which becomes source of income for care takers and they can feed cows.
Singh said that attention should be paid on development of small cities as paid on major cities. On increasing revenue sources, the urban development minister said that corporations should consturct marriage, community halls on empty land so that their revenue can be increased and they can collect fund for public amenities. He asked to reduce height of multi-storey buildings under Prime Minister Housing Scheme. He said that it will reduce the cost of elevator.-Window To News
