Priority to free forest from encroachment
Bhopal: Protection of forest and wild life, to free forest from encroachment and to bring lions to Kuno National Park from Gujarat are in the priority list of the state government. This was said by the Minister for Forest Umang Singhar, while assuming charge of the office at Mantralaya today. Singhar told officers that maximum forest area of the country falls under Madhya Pradesh. Hence, make efforts to provide good employment opportunities to youth by linking them with skill development.
The Additional Chief Secretary Forest K.K. Singh apprised the Forest Minister with important departmental activities on this occasion. He informed that Kuno National Park is ready for arrival of lions. Twenty four villages have already been shifted from this area and tendu leaf collection work is also a major part of minor forest produce fedration.
