Governor Patel inaugurates 'healthy woman-healthy state' programme
Bhopal: Inaugurating 'Healthy Woman: Healthy State' programme in Sarojani Naidu Governor Girls College, Governor Anandiben Patel said that woman is dhuri (Pivot) of her family. That's why it is necessary for her to stay healthy. She said that I discussed this with doctors after arriving in Madhya Pradesh. The Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur was asked to conduct hemoglobin test of all girl students of colleges. She said that I am happy to know that 313 colleges affiliated with this university are executing the task.
Vice Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, R.C. Sharma said that the campaign was launched on August 15, 2018. So far, hemoglobin test of 93000 students have been carried out. The target has been set to conduct hemoglobin test of 2.5 lakh students. The Vice Chancellor informed students that only hemoglobin test reveals deficiency of element. He said that so far hemoglobin test of girl students of colleges of 26 districts have been conducted. The highest rate of anemic students is found in Seoni district. He said that such camps will be held in all districts.
The Governor inaugurated gym for the students in college campus. In the hemoglobin test camp, girl students in the big number were seen waiting for their turn for the test thanks to motivation by the Governor. -Window To News
