Minister Dr. Govind Singh assumes charge
Bhopal: Minister for General Administration, Parliamentary Affairs and Cooperative Dr. Govind Singh assumed charge of departments at Mantralaya today. After receiving introduction from the Senior Officers of the departments he gathered information about departmental activities during the discussions.
Minister Dr. Govind Singh said that common people's welfare is the topmost priority of the government. Laws and rules have also been made for the common citizens. The government will play an active role to ensure justice to the poor of the society. The vision of the Chief Minister is clear in this regard. Decision to merge Anand and Religious Endowment department is also a symbol of government's commitment. It is important that all should get respect on the principle of Sarvadharm Sambhav (Religious Harmony). Corruption will not be tolerated at any level. Necessary reforms will be made in cooperative sector. Along with this attention will be paid to follow best parliamentary traditions. Dr. Singh deliberated with the officers of General Administration, Parliamentary Affairs and Cooperative Department related to ongoing works.
The Officers present at the meeting include ACS General Administration Prabhanshu Kamal, Agriculture Production Commissioner P.C. Meena, Principal Secretary Cooperative K.C. Gupta, Additional Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Rajesh Gupta and Director of Sansadiya Vidyapeeth Pratima Yadav. At the beginning Officers congratulated Minister Dr. Govind Singh and extended good wishes to him.
Welcome accorded by Employees’ Representatives
Minister Dr. Govind Singh was also accorded welcome with bouquet by various representatives of employees on this occasion. Dr. Singh also held discussions today with Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare and Higher Education Jeetu Patwari and Principal Secretary to CM Ashok Varnwal.
