Career opportunities fair to be organized in district on a large scale

Bhopal: Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Neeraj Mandloi has instructed district collectors to organize career opportunity fairs under Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance Scheme. These fares will be organized on a large scale. The collectors have been asked to cooperate as the patron of the organizing committee for the fair.
It has been observed on the basis of past experience that in the districts where the collectors acted as trustees by taking personal interest and formed a committee and conducted direct discussions and personal correspondence with various companies, industries and employment providers, there a large number of employment providing companies registered their presence. There was also a significant increase in the number of selected students in these fairs.
The Principal Secretary directed to make jobs available to local students in a large number at the career opportunity fair. He told to include representatives of District Trade and Industry Centre, CEDMAP, Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam, Khadi and Gramodyog Board, District Employment Office, M.P. Consultancy Organisation and office bearers of Industrial organizations like Association of Industries, CII and educational institutions as members.-Window To News
