Ensure power, water arrangements in anganwadis: Minister Imarti Devi

Bhopal: Women and Child Development Minister Imarti Devi conducted a surprise inspection of the anganwadi Kendra at Ankur School this morning. She instructed the officers to ensure the arrangement of electricity and water in all the anganwadis. If there is any problem anywhere, she said she will discuss the issue with the Energy minister herself.
Imarti Devi said that the scheme for encouraging the habit of cleanliness in girls is being given shape. Under the scheme, free sanitary napkins will be distributed for two years to girls above 12 in the anganwadis.
The minister held a direct dialogue with about 82 children, 10 dhatri women and 6 pregnant women present in the anganwadi and apprised herself with Mangal Divas, Matra Vandana Yojana and meals etc. being distributed in anganwadis. Imarti Devi also distributed chocolates and biscuits to the children.-Window To News
