6.70 lakh farmers submit applications
Bhopal: Farmers of the state are enthusiastic to derive benefit from the Jai Kisan Crop Loan Waiver Scheme. Total19 lakh 54 thousand 219 farmers have submitted their loan waiver applications in gram panchayats in the first six days of the scheme. As many as 6 lakh 70 thousand applications have been submitted today itself. The application forms submitted by the farmers include 60.11 percent green, 35.01 percent white and 4.88 percent pink. So far 11 lakh 74 thousand 868 green, 6 lakh 84 thousand 209 white and 95 thousand 324 pink applications have been submitted.
It may be mentioned that applications for loan waiver will be received from the farmers till February 5, 2019 under the prescribed implementation procedure. According to the estimation of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, total 54 lakh loan waiver forms are expected to be submitted till February 5.-Window To News
