Gadkari & Chouhan dedicate 2 Lane Road at Biaora Lay Foundation of Biaora-Dewas Four Lane Road

Bhopal: Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated 61 kilometer long 2 lane road with paved solder constructed at a cost of Rs. 220.95 crore from Biaora to Rajasthan border at Biaora of district Rajgarh on Tuesday. They also laid foundation stone of 141.26 kilometer long Bioara- Dewas four lane road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1583.79 crore on the occasion.

Gadkari said that construction of Chambal Express way and Narmada Express way will be undertaken in the state. He informed that citizens of Madhya Pradesh will get Chhatisgarh to Gujarat connecting facility after construction of this road. He mentioned that Biaora-Bhopal highway will be converted into EPC Mode. This work will start within next four months. He also made announcement for construction of Obaidullah Ganj to Betul road soon.  He further mentioned that the length of the National Highways has increased from 5,194 kilometer to 10 thousand 188 kilometer in the last two years in the state. He said that over 2000 kilometer long highways of the state will be developed as per the recommendations of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouha.

He said that Ministry for Road Transport will provide every possible support to the state to develop Bus-Stands of Madhya Pradesh as Bus-Ports. He also made an announcement to develop Narmada as a water way to encourage water transport.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that better arrangements are being made for construction of roads in the state. Now cement-concrete roads of high quality are being constructed which will not wear off till long time. He mentioned that

Madhya Pradesh was known for bad roads before a decade, but now the concept is changed. Good quality roads are being constructed. He made an announcement to provide an amount of Rs. 5 crore for development of Biaora and to give Suthaliya a status of tahsil. He further mentioned a sum of Rs. One crore will be spent on development works.  

Minister for Public Works Rampal Singh, MPs Rodmal Nagar, Manohar Oontwal, MLAs Amarsingh Yadav, Narayan Singh Panwar, Kunwar Kothaar, Hazarilal Dangi, Mamta Meena, public representatives and Public were present on the occasion.
