3.78 lakh farmers submit applications today

Bhopal: Farmers of the state are enthusiastic to derive benefit from the Jai Kisan Crop Loan Waiver Scheme. Total 31 lakh 48 thousand 527 farmers have submitted their loan waiver applications in gram panchayats in the first till date. As many as 3 lakh 78 thousand applications have been submitted today itself. The application forms submitted by the farmers include 57.7 percent green, 36.8 percent white and 5.9 percent pink. So far 18 lakh 19 thousand 829 green, 11 lakh 60 thousand 191 white and One lakh 68 thousand 507 pink applications have been submitted. During the last 24 hours, One lakh 25 thousand green applications have been fed on the portals of branches for final claim.
It may be mentioned that applications for loan waiver will be received from the farmers till February 5, 2019 under the prescribed implementation procedure. According to the estimation of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, total 50 lakh loan waiver forms are expected to be submitted till February 5.-Window To News
