Instructions given to complete projects underway on time
Bhopal: During an intensive review of the Narmada Valley Development Department projects, Narmada Valley Development Minister Surendra Singh Baghel directed to ensure that the water project of under construction irrigation projects created for Narmada Valley development reaches every field in the Command area. Efforts should be made to bridge the gap between created irrigation potential and actual irrigation potential for this.
Minister Baghel also gave a detailed review of the displacement and rehabilitation work related to the huge projects along with Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi Sagar, Bargi diversion, Indira Sagar, Omkareshwar, Halon, Loargoi, Narmada Malwa Gambhir, Khargone Aviation, Maan and Jobat projects. Baghel instructed to make work plan to supply irrigation water to the areas deprived of irrigation in Dahi (Dhar) zone. He directed to complete all under construction projects within the time limit.
Principal Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Authority Pankaj Agrawal gave detailed information of the completed projects and those under construction. Agarwal gave guidance to the field engineers to prioritize the problems by making advance work plans to accelerate the construction work.
