CM Chouhan performs ‘Kanya Poojan’ on Basant Panchami

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated a residential colony built under the Mukhyamantri Awas Mission Yojna at village Barwatpura of district Vidisha on Wednesday. He also inspected the horticulture crops at his farm house in Vidisha. CM Chouhan terming the Union Budget as the public welfare budget said that attention has been paid to all the sections of the society in the budget. Extending greetings to the people of the state on Basant Panchami, Chouhan prayed for happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He also performed ‘Kanya Poojan’ at his farm house.

CM Chouhan dedicated houses built on the lines of colony under the Mukhyamantri Awas Mission at village Batwatpura of Vidisha block. He told the beneficiaries that he will not let them face any difficulties. Chouhan inspected the houses and praised the quality of construction.

It may be highlighted that 32 houses were destroyed due to fire in Barwatpura. A special initiative was taken to make housing arrangement for these families. A loan of Rs. 44 lakh 20 thousand was sanctioned by the Cooperative bank under the Mukhyamantri Awas Mission. A new C.C. road at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh has been also constructed in the village.-WTN
