India has Highest Unemployed Persons
Bhopal: The Chief Minister Kamal Nath has described the interim union budget presented at Parliament today as full of Jumlas or exaggerated promises saying that it presented keeping an eye on forthcoming Lok Sabha election.
Giving his reaction, Kamal Nath said that the promise of giving direct income support at the rate of Rs. 6000 annually to the farmers owning upto two hectares is extremely meager. This means they will get five hundred rupees every month that will come about Rs. 16.50 every day, this is nothing. He said that waiving the loans of farmers would have been the biggest relief to the farmers. The Madhya Pradesh government is giving the biggest relief to the farmers by waiving off their debts. He said that the urban poor youth are being given jobs under the Yuva Swabhiman Yojana in M.P.
Kamal Nath said that earlier the people were promised of getting Rs. 15 lakh in their respective accounts. Jobs numbering two crore would be generated. Both the promises turned out to be false promises. The Chief Minister said that in the last four and a half years India is having maximum number of unemployed persons in its history.
Referring to the Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan scheme, Nath said that by joining the contributory pension scheme at the age of 29 years and start of the pension of Rs 3000 per month on completion of 60 years contributing Rs. 100 rupees per month is a farce. He said that inflation would be so high that the value of pension amount would be thousand times lower. He expressed regret that no provision has been made for non-farm labour in the budget.-Window To News
