Narmada Jayanti Mahotsav to be celebrated in grand form: Minister Sharma

Bhopal: Narmada Jayanti Mahotsav will be celebrated in grand form in Hoshangabad on February 11 and 12. Jal-Manch will be a centre of attraction in the Mahotsav. This was informed during a committee meeting of Narmada Jayanti Mahotsav held at Narmada Mandir of Tulsi Nagar, Bhopal under the Chairmanship of the District In-Charge of Hoshangabad and Minister for Public Relations P.C. Sharma.
PR Minister Sharma said that a wide publicity of Narmada Jayanti Mahotsav should be conducted in the state. Cultural programmes will be organized and distinguished citizens will be honoured during the Mahotsav. Detail discussion in connection to Jal-Manch, electricity arrangements, barricading, police control room and Narmada ghats besides arrangements of the Central Water Commission took place in the meeting.
President of Mahotsav Committee and MLA Sitasharan Sharma, Former Minister Sartaj Singh, Former MLAs Savita Deewan, Arjun Paliya, District Congress President Kapil Foujdar, Executive President Rajesh Tiwari, President of Nagar Palika Akhilesh Khandelwal, Senior officers of Police and Administration besides Collector Hoshangabad Ashish Saxena were present at the meeting.-Window To News
