CM Chouhan Participates in Narmada Seva Yatra at Sant Singaji of Khandwa

Bhopal: ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ Seva Yatra set out from Charkheda of Khandwa district of East Nimar reached village Sant Singaji on its 54th day covering Selda, Maandla, Sahelja and Guradiya villages. All the necessary arrangements have been made by the district administration for night halt here. All are aware about Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s attachments towards Maa Narmada and faith towards saints. CM Chouhan along with his wife reached Samadhi Sthal of Sant Singaji to participate in yatra. He paid floral tribute at Samadhi and participated in Jan-Sanvad programme.
CM Chouhan told villagers that Narmada River is a life line of Madhya Pradesh. Narmada river is our mother. All the people of the state are in her shelter. He further said that we all have to undertake plentiful fruit plantation on both the banks of Narmada River. Chouhan also urged the people to keep Narmada River clean and not immerse poojan material in it. Do not use plastic items, he added. Moreover he said that a public movement will be conducted for de-addiction. Chouhan said that Narmada Seva Yatra has transformed into a public movement to make Narmada River clean and pure.
Aarti of Maa Narmade
CM Chouhan performed Sandhya Aarti at the bank of Narmada River. Villagers also participated in group aarti. Moreover bhajans focusing Maa Narmada were presented by bhajan mandlis at Sant Singaji Samadhi Sthal followed by Narmada acclamation. Minister for Forest Dr. Gourishankar Shejwar, Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of State for Culture Surendra Patwa, MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan and Vice Chairman Pashudhan Sanvardhan Board Santosh Joshi were present in the programme.-WTN
