Committee formed for fixing process of changing forest villages to revenue villages

Bhopal: The state government has constituted a six-member committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Revenue to determine the process for advance action in connection with the Acts for converting forest villages to revenue villages. The committee will take necessary action in 30 days and submit report to the Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department.
Convener of the Ex-officio Secretary Committee of the Forest Department has been made Member Secretary. Other four members include Secretary Revenue Department, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Forest Land Records), Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Information Technology) and Secretary Forest Department.-Window To News
