Centre gives approval for 15.62 lakh MT procurement
Bhopal: Gram, Masoor and Mustard will be procured in Price Support Scheme in the state under the Rabi season 2018-19 for 90 days from March 25. The Union Government has given approval for procuring total 15 lakh 62 thousand 500 MT of all the three produces. This include maximum 11 lakh 48 thousand 750 MT Gram, one lakh 69 thousand 750 MT Masoor and maximum 2 lakh 44 thousand MT Mustard.
The concerned agencies have been told to procure only fair average quality (FAQ) grains in the Support Price Scheme from the registered farmers as per the rules. Along with this, directives have been given to ensure payment in the bank accounts of the farmers within 3 days after the procurement.-Window To News
