AIIMS Bhopal observes a Forthnight of Swachata Abhiyan Pakhwada along with World Cancer Day

Bhopal: The AIIMS Bhopal is observing “Swachata Abhiyan Pakhwada” from 1st – 15th Feb 2017. The institute has organised daily activities under this Abhiyan for instance, sensitization and awareness amongst patients and attendants visiting AIIMS Bhopal. Slogan, Painting Competition and Swachata Skits etc. These activities were organised by Medical and Nursing Students. Local NGOs and Member of society were also involved in this Abhiyan.
Today 4th Feb 2017, AIIMS Bhopal celebrated “World Cancer Day” by observing various activities like organisation of rally. Rally was carried out by students of Nursing and Medical College along with staff from the hospital to Saket Nagar and concluded at Medical College AIIMS Bhopal. Shri. Manoj Jhalani, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) visited AIIMS Bhopal to take stock of “Swachata Abhiyan Pakhwada”. He flagged off the rally in morning and later visited the hospital premises. He also interacted with the faculty. He appreciated the activities carried out under “Swachata Abhiyan Pakhwada” and progress in patient care services.
Later a guest lecture were organised by CFM Department on Cancer Awareness delivered by Prof. Dinesh K. Pal, Head Dept. of Preventive & Social Medicine, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal attended by around 150-200 students of Medical/Nursing College and staff.-WTN
