Core Group Members Share Their Experiences In Yatra

Bhopal: Forty-five members of the Core Group participated in the “Namami Devi Narmade” Seva Yatra which is currently in Khandwa district. Core Group in Charge Divisional Coordinator Varun Acharya said that the experience of the yatra was very enjoyable. Also, people are very enthusiastic; the cultural programmes are very good. Villagers are resolved towards the pollution-free Narmada as per the desire of the Chief Minister. The Narmada Seva Yatra has a very positive influence over the society. The villagers are becoming aware from the street plays on the village chaupal. The programme is eco friendly and inspiring. Plastic disposals and polythene is not being used in the yatra. All including the rural committees, voluntary organizations, people’s representatives and administration are extending support to Yatra.
Sharing his experience, Core group member from Aagar district Satyanarayan said that it was really pleasing to note that the villagers using cloth banners during the Yatra. He said that efforts are being made by the members of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad to keep Ma Narmada pollution free and pure by widespread sapling of trees and greenery on both the banks of the river Narmada and villagers are extending all their support to them. They also organized a lok jagaran here.
Core Group member from Badoud of Aagar district Nilesh Kumar Gupta said that the atmosphere of cleanliness and colourful decoration all around the villages makes one feel as though we are in the pal of nature. Yatra Core Group member Sureshchandra Yadav said that the lok jagaran programme being organized in the villages through the Yatra is laudable. The Bhajan Mandlis presented inspiring bhajans in the night. These experiences were shared by the different core group members.-WTN
