Yatra reaches Punasa, citizens welcome it by showering flowers

21 new married couples participate in Yatra
Bhopal : Namami Devi Narmade’ - Seva Yatra today reached village Richhphal, passing through village Chikthalia, Damkhera Kalan, Punasa, Daulatpura, Borghar Raiyat and Phikrimal of Khandwa district. Villagers welcomed the yatra by showering flowers in all villages. Women had made rangoli outside their houses. Welcome gates were installed place to place. The yatra was welcomed at one dozen places in Punasa city and local people distributed prasad and falahar. Chairman Gau-Palan evam Pashudhan Sanvardhan Board Mahamandleshwar Akhileshwaranand Ji Maharaj, Swami Krishnadhyananand, Vice Chairman Gau-Palan evam Pashudhan Sanvardhan Board Santosh Joshi and MLA Lokendra Singh were present on
the occasion.
21 newly married couples participated in Yatra
Twenty one couple tied nuptial knot in Punasa under Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna. All the 21 couples participated in Narmada Seva Yatra. Swami Akhileshwaranand Ji greeted new couples. Giving message for cleanliness, he presented a broom and dustbin to each couple.
Akhileshwaranand Ji administered pledge for plantation on the banks of Narmada river and make Narmada pollution-free and flowing. He said that mother Narmada makes us holy but we are polluting it. All should make efforts at their level to make water of Narmada river clean and pollution-free.
Swami Akhileshwaranand Ji said that use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture fields situated on the banks of River are polluting Narmada water. He mentioned that indiscriminate felling of trees on both the banks of the river has decreased the water quantity. Hence, villagers residing on the river banks should undertake plentiful plantation.
Vice President of Jan-Abhiyan Parishad Raghvendra Gautam said that everyone should have sentiments of devotion and gratitude towards Narmada River. On one hand where water is being supplied for irrigation on the other hand villages and cities are being illuminated from sufficient electricity produced from Narmada water.
Maa Narmada Reviving other Rivers
Swami Akhileshwaranand Ji informed in village Borghad that Puran mentions that Narmada River will keep on flowing till infinite time and will prove to be a revival sourc for other rivers. He mentioned that this has been proved today. Kshipra river has been revived by linking Narmada river in the past. - WTN
