Character Building is Must for Country and Society

Bhopal :Minister of State for Cooperative, Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang said that character building is must for building of country and society. Sarang was addressing the Annual Function programme of Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls College here today.

Sarang said that future of the country depends on youths. Hence, he believes that students should not only pursue studies for themselves, their families and for their career but they should also have sentiments and responsibilities towards nation and society. Mentioning about compositions of famous poets Neeraj and Late Dushyanta Kumar Tyagi, he said that we will have to mould ourselves in the new definition to rebuild the country in context to the changing scenario. Moreover we have to follow the path of Swami Vivekanand to make India a powerful country of the world. Sarang told the students to infuse themselves with the unflinching courage of Mahrani Laxmi Bai and utilize their energy and power for building nation and society.

Mayor Alok Sharma mentioned that Madhya Pradesh is progressing constantly in the field of education. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is serious about better education and education for all. He told the students to bring glory to parents, college, state and to the country by their personality and accomplishments.

Principal Smt. Induprabha Tiwari informed about the activities and achievements of the college. Minster of State Sarang honoured the students with prizes for exhibiting excellence in education, sports and other activities. Ku. Sona Sahu was honoured with Smt. Bhavna Pralay Award instituted for securing best position in merit list of Sanskrit language on the occasion.WTN
