State Minister Joshi Holds Public Discussion in 3 Khandwa Villages
Bhopal: Not just the people living on the banks of Ma Narmada, but even the lives of people residing in several cities can come under cloud if the soft gurgling sound of Ma Narmada is weakened. Hence, people should make positive efforts to ensure the sound of the Narmada continues. State Minister (Independent Charge) for Technical Education and Skills Development, Labour, School Education Deepak Joshi was addressing a public discussion at Khagbada, Ajroot, Chitmour and Koti village in Khandwa district during the “Namami Devi Narmade”-Seva Yatra. The Yatra was accorded a hearty welcome by the villagers.
Joshi said during the discussion that all possible efforts will have to be made to keep Ma Narmada free of pollution. He also appealed to plant saplings on both the banks of the Ma Narmada.
State Minister Joshi said that the decorum of the ‘Amrit Kalash’ of the Narmada should be maintained. A resolve to inspire everyone to make all possible efforts to plant trees, maintain cleanliness, refrain from use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, adopt organic farming, propagate beti-bachao-beti padhao, de-addiction and maintain purity of Narmada was administered.-WTN
