Information About Ration Through SMS on Mobile

Bhopal: The members of the Vigilance Committee constituted in the Public Distribution System designated by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department are being given information about ration by S.M.S. Food Commissioner Faiz Ahmed Kidwai has said that the information is being sent by S.M.S to the members of the village/shopwise vigilance committees formed to ensure ration distribution with transparency and responsibility to eligible beneficiaries.

The Food Commissioner said that the S.M.S with information about sending food grain from the godown to the ration shop is sent to the vigilance committee members on their mobiles. Information about transporting ration to the shops is being sent via S.M.S to those beneficiaries whose mobile numbers have undergone seeding. He said mobile seeding of all the beneficiaries is being carried out.-WTN
