Bhopal: Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh said that it is must for the civil services officers to gain competency on activities in their working place, rules and procedure. Complete information about working place paves way for innovations and excellence. Singh was addressing the concluding programme of 94th Joint Basic Training Programme of State Civil Services Officers today at R.C.V.P Naronha Administrative and Management Academy. He said that at present the Union and State Governments encourage to pursue innovations and remarkable works. This creates a different image of the officers, he added.

Director General of Academy Smt. Kanchan Jain and Director Manish Rastogi also addressed the concluding programme. Prizes of various competitions were presented to the trainees on the occasion. Ashish Kumar Pandey was honoured with Best Trainee Officer award.

It may be mentioned that 113 officers including 31 Deputy District Magistrates, 30 Assistant Directors Finance, 25 Assistant Directors Women and Child Development department, 14 District Coordinators, 6 District Excise Officers, 2 District Registrars, 2 District Commanders and 3 Regional Coordinators participated in the training session started from 26 December, 2016.
