Cooperative Federation in Tourism, Transport, I.T. and Horticulture to be Mulled

MoS Sarang at State Level Convention on “Skill Development and Cooperative”
Bhopal: Minister for Cooperative (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang said that cooperative societies will be formed in order to provide employment at wide scale in Tourism, I.T., Transport and Horticulture sectors through cooperative. Also state government will consider to form the federation in this regard. Sarang was addressing the State Level Convention on “Skill Development and Cooperative” today.
Sarang mentioned that association of women with cooperative revolution is must. He said that they are the pivotal instrument of the revolution. Families learn culture from them which are being spread in the country and society. He further mentioned that we will definitely achieve the target of upliftment and overall development if association of women in large numbers with cooperative is ensured. Sarang said that cooperative is a broad sector which has been expanded during the last 10 years. Feeling of cooperative has strengthened in the state following the policy of coordination and goodwill. He said that it is necessary that they we should take this at the bottom level and make it a instrument for uplifting deprived section.
Chairman State Cooperative Management Institute Arun Singh Tomar said that Madhya Pradesh is leading in the country in cooperative sector. He laid emphasis to explore new possibilities and its implementation in the cooperative sector.
Organisations which have made innovations and have undertaken excellent works in the field of cooperative were awarded in the convention. The organisations which were honoured for excellent and exemplary works include Vipnan Sahkari Sanstha of Agar-Malwa which has earned a net profit of Rs. 76 lakh by managing petrol pump, Suvidha Saakh Sanstha of Bhopal for making cooperative organization to provide domestic services like plumber, carpenter and other domestic works, Jila Sahkari Sangh of Ujjain for providing employment to 900 persons forming cooperative organisation of transport, tourism and bio-fertiliser, Rahti Prathmik Jila Vanopaj Sangh of Sehore district for manufacturing herbal medicines, World Vision for excellent working in the field of women empowerment and B.H.E.E. Thrift and Credit Society of Bhopal as excellent organisations.
Sarang also dedicated the website and ICM App of State Cooperative Federation on the occasion. Subject Expert Sudhir Jain and Surendra Kumar imparted training to the members of the cooperative institutions on skill development.-WTN
