Bhopal: In order to encourage cashless and digital transactions, a facility to pay Bhavan evam Anya Sannirman Karmkar Kalyan surcharge through online payment gateway has been provided by the Labour Department. This payment process through online payment gateway has been started on pilot basis from Bhopal district.
Additional Chief Secretary Labour B.R. Naidu has informed that payment of surcharge has been made online through gateway in Bhopal district from February. This online facility for payment will be provided in the entire state from March. In special circumstances, where offline process is necessary, then offline surcharge collection will be accepted till March 31, 2017. From April 1, 2017 surcharge will be collected only online.
One percent surcharge of the total cost of construction works is taken by Madhya Pradesh Bhavan evam Sannirman Karmkar Mandal. The amount of surcharge is being paid through cheque and D.D at present. This process has been made digital by the department. Consumers can deposit surcharge on portal www.labour.mp.gov.in of the labour department.
