Renowned Bhajan Singer Anoop Jalota Came to Participate in Yatra
Bhopal: Renowned Bhajan Singer Anoop Jalota said that the task to adorn Maa Narmada taken by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is being established as guideline for the entire country. He mentioned that this kind of yatras should be conducted to conserve rivers in every state. Beside common persons, children and youths will understand the importance of rivers by this. Jaloata was deliberating with journalists at Indore today. He has come to participate in 'Namami Devi Narmade' – Seva Yatra.
Jalota mentioned that rivers are considered as mothers yet the condition of rivers in the country is grave. Efforts being made by the Chief Minister Chouhan to conserve river must be implemented in the entire country. This is the question before all of us that Tames river of London is clean despite materialism and we are not able to conserve our rivers apart from our religious beliefs and mythological tales.
Moreover, Jalota stated that Maa Narmada is a life line of the state. It passes through 16 districts. 30 percent of Madhya Pradesh population reside in the vicinity of Narmada river and use its water for drinking and irrigation. Maa Narmada has important contribution in environmental conservation, animals' nourishment and electricity generation. Madhya Pradesh has contributed remarkably in agriculture production by utilising Narmada water. Krishi Karman award honoured to Madhya Pradesh continuously since last four year became possible due to the blessings of Maa Narmada.
Jalota said that people get rid of their sins by taking a dip in the Ganga river but a glimpse and remembering Maa Narmada wash away the sins of multiple lives. Narmada water possesses medicinal properties and several diseases are cured by drinking it. CM Chouhan is a son of farmer. Environmentalists and eminent citizens of the country are coming forward to link themselves with the progressive thoughts of Chouhan and to participate in 'Namami Devi Narmade'-Seva Yatra.
He further said that he is also linked with Swachcha Ganga campaign. River conservation campaign has gained speed in the country after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister.
Jalota said that the Simhastha was organised successfully after making Narmada-Kshipra Link Project. Water shortage was not faced during the Simhastha. The participation, efforts and progressive approach of the Chief Minister Chouhan will definitely adorn Maa Narmada and will make state prosperous.-WTN
