Energy Minister Paras Jain reviews energy department

Instructions to fill up vacancies 

Bhopal : Energy Minister Paras Jain today reviewed Deendayal and IPDS schemes in departmental review meeting. He took stock of progress of Khandwa situated thermal power plant. Jain discussed progress of new sub-centres of transmission and power distribution companies and load hike related activities with officers.

 Jain issued necessary instructions after taking detail of steps taken for zero tolerance policy for corruption in the department. He instructed to timely execute Chief Minister Permanent Connection Scheme by reviewing pending applications and ensuring quality in the works. He said new recruitment should be made as per present status of vacancies in the companies. Recruitments should be provided to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates by holding walk-in interview.

 Energy minister said that employees should be hired on contract and regular basis by reducing the percent of employees through tender basic. Immediate action should be taken in compensatory appointment cases. Policy for transfer and deputation should be framed. Transfers will be carried out in April to June.

 Additional Chief Secretary, Iqbal Singh Bains, Power Transmission Company Managing Director Sanjay Kumar Shukla and Managing Directors of all power companies and officers were present in the meeting. WTN
