Electricity Supply of Over 10,000 MW on 51 Days, 11,000 MW on 33 Days in Rabi Season
Bhopal : A successful electricity supply of 10,000 MW on 51 days and 11,000 MW on 33 days was made in Rabi season this year. The Rabi season is from October to February. The demand for electricity is highest during this season.
Despite maximum demand, electricity supply for 10 hours for irrigation and 24 hours for domestic and industrial consumers was fixed. Despite being less than the highest level, the demand for electricity for the last one fortnight has been above 10,500 MW.
The highest demand for electricity 11, 421 MW was registered on December 23 last year which continued till January 26. The demand for electricity continued for over 11,000 MW for 20 out of 33 days in the state. WTN
