Narmada Seva Yatra Set Out With Maha Aarti

 

Bhopal : A large number of local citizens participated in Maha Aarti in the morning at village Datwada of Badwani district today. Yatra was begun with showering flowers on Narmada kalash and flag.

Citizens participated in the yatra prayed to Maa Narmada for happiness and prosperity of the state. Sants appealed to the citizens not to immerse poojan material in Narmada river to make it clean.

On one hand elders of the village were informing about the grand form of Narmada and green trees on the other youths were seen with enthusiasm towards prosperity by undertaking plantation at their village.

Yatra started from village Datwada got full support from the villages at every place. Beside local citizens taking part in yatra overwhelmingly, yatra is being welcomed with cultural presentations, rangolis, bhajan kirtans and flower showering everywhere.

Yatra started on its 68 th day from Datwada reached village Pipri covering Golata, Chhota Barda, Anvli and Segaon villages. A grand welcome was accorded to yatra on reaching Datwada. Maha Aarti was performed by Sadhu-Sants reached here from distant places. Yatra will take night halt at village Pipri before proceeding for next destination. WTN
