Two-Day Workshop of Smart City CEOs and CMOs begins
Bhopal 2 August [WTN] : A two-day workshop began at the All India Local Self-Governance Training Institute today to apprise the municipal commissioners, CEOs of smart city projects and chief municipal officers about innovative techniques for implementation of various schemes. The Institute's Adviser, N.B. Lohani and Commissioner, Urban Administration and Development, Mr. P. Narhari launched the workshop. In the workshop, subject experts briefed on the beneficiary oriented schemes run by the Central and State Governments and implementation of various projects.
Commissioner Narhari said that the latest techniques should be used for monitoring the schemes. He said, a well-thought-out plan should be formulated to ensure implementation of the schemes within a time frame. Mr. Narhari said that eligible beneficiaries should get the benefit of the schemes at home.
In the workshop, Additional Commissioner Swatantra Kumar Singh gave information about Smart City Mission, Additional Commissioner Ashish Saxena about E-Municipality, Pankaj Jain about National Urban Livelihood Mission, Meenakshi Singh about Prime Minister's Housing Scheme and Engineer-in-Chief P.K. Katare gave information about the Amrit Yojana.
