Minister Shukl in All India Tennis Ball Competition at Ujjain

Bhopal: Minister for Commerce, Industry, Employment and Mineral Resources Rajendra Shukl said that sports activities infuse sportspersons with enthusiasm. Shukl was addressing the concluding programme of Late Bhurelal Firojia Memorial All India Tennis Ball competition at Ujjain today.

Shukl mentioned that on one hand sports competitions increases inclination among youths towards sports and on the other it raises competition spirit. He further mentioned that special attention is being paid by the state government on sports and sportspersons.

Shukla honoured winners with awards on the occasion. A cash reward of Rs. 3 lakh and trophy was presented to the winner of the final match and a sum of Rs. One lakh 50 thousand and trophy was given to the runner up team. Also prizes were distributed to the Man of the Match and Man of the Series of the competition.

MP Dr. Chintamani Malviya and MLA Anil Firojiya also addressed the programme.-WTN
