Cooperative Societies to Market Sanchi Milk Products

Bhopal: In order to make available the Sanchi Milk products to more people conveniently, a decision has been taken by the State Cooperative Federation to sell milk products and Sudana product through Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Societies, Consumer stores and Marketing Societies. An agreement will be signed between MPCDF, Cooperative department and Registrar Cooperative Societies in this regard. It may be mentioned that at present Sanchi milk and milk products is being marketed by around 6,500 selling centers in the entire state.

Sanchi milk products like Ghee, milk, milk powder, sweet flavoured milk, milk cake, rasgulla, gulab jamun beside Sudana brand animal feed manufactured by Dairy federation will be marketed by agriculture credit cooperative societies, consumer stores and marketing societies.

It is to be highlighted that 10 lakh litre milk is collected daily from 2 lakh 30 thousand members of milk societies by Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Sagar milk federations. Out of total collected milk, 7 lakh 60 thousand litre of milk is being made available to the consumers of the state at reasonable rates in Sanchi brand packs.-WTN
