Revenue Minister Gupta Distributes Certificates in Kotra  

Bhopal: All those who are eligible will be given Urban Rights’ Certificate under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. This was informed by the Revenue, Science and technology Minister Umashankar Gupta while distributing Urban Rights certificates to people at Wards 27,28, 29 and 30 in Kotra.
Gupta said that the government wants that no person should stay in jhuggis insteadthey should stay in pucca houses. He said that the state government was pro poorgovernment. He said that electricity was being supplied 24-hours at a cost of Rs 50 thousand crores. Free-of-cost treatment for the poor with serious illnesses was being ensured by the government.
Shri Gupta said that the government will bear the entire expenses for the education of children who obtain more than 85 per cent in Higher Secondary. Since the implementation of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, girls are no longer considered a burden.

So far 25 lakh girls have been covered under Ladli Laxmi Yojana. Ladli Laxmi who reaches Class VI will be granted Rs 2000 and on reaching Class IX the Ladli Laxmi will be granted Rs 4000 every year under the scheme. Local people’s representatives were present at the programme.-WTN
