Go Heritage Run’ Concludes in Khajuraho

Chairman Tapan Bhoumik Flags Off Run 

Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s programme ‘Go Heritage Run’ was successfully concluded at famous tourist and world heritage spot Khajuraho today. A large number of citizens, people interested in archaeology and tourism and players took part in it.

The State Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Tapan Bhoumik at Khajuraho inaugurated the Go Heritage Run today morning. The objective behind the organizing the run in Khajuraho was to attract tourists from all over the country and the world to tourist spots in Madhya Pradesh in general and Khajuraho in particular. It may be noteworthy that close to Khajuraho are the Panna Tiger Reserve, historic temples of Panna, Raneh Falls, Pandava caves, alligators in Cane River, Chatrasal Museum Dhubela, Kundeshwar and Jatashankar besides ancient lake, tourist spot and memorials. This run was organized with the aim of attracting tourists and people towards this ancient heritage.

Tourism Secretary and M.D. Hari Ranjan Rao, Sagar Division Commissioner Manohar Agnani, District Panchayat President Rajesh Prajapati, District Collector, Superintendent of Police were also present on the occasion. The Go Heritage Run was organized for a distance of 5 kms, 10 kms and 21 kms. People took part in the run very enthusiastically. The Corporation expressed its gratitude towards all participants.WTN
