Saw Such a Big River Conservation Movement First Time after Freedom

Yatra Reached Bakaner of Dhar District
Bhopal : “I have witnessed such a big campaign for the first time for conservation of Narmada River after the freedom movement. Secondly, villages are benefitting that the administration itself has reached the villages and is taking notice of our small problems”. This was said by the elderly farmer Jagdish Jat of village Kuwali of Dhar district.
‘Namami Devi Narmade’-Seva Yatra reached village Malan Gaon of Dhar district on its 78thday after proceeding from Semalda. Former Minister and MLA Smt. Ranjana Baghel focusing on de-addiction in Jan-Sanvad said that banks of Narmada river will be made free from addiction. She urged women of the village to come forward to make village free of addiction forming committees.
Yatra proceeded from village Malan reached village Kuwali after performing poojan at Hanuman Tekri of Mirzapur.
Sri Sri Ravishankar Maharaj to Participate in Yatra Tomorrow
Narmada Seva Yatra has reached village Bakaner after proceeding from village Kuwali where kalash yatra, cultural programmes will be organized and meals will be served. Moreover, yatra will take night halt at village Bakaner. Sri Sri Ravishankar Maharaj and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister for Environment Antar Singh Arya will participate in Narmada seva yatra tomorrow. WTN
