Swami Mr. Shivanand Saraswati and Film Actor Anupam Kher participate in Yatra in Dharampuri of Dhar district

 
Bhopal: Being taken on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan for protection and conservation of mother Narmada, 'Namami Devi Narmade' - Seva Yatra, is receiving huge public support day by day. Apart from this public support, the yatra is getting support from different religious heads, saints, sports persons, social workers, film stars, water experts and others intellectuals. To extend their support, noted film actor Mr. Anupam Kher and famous saint Swami Mr. Shivanand Saraswati Maharaj also reached Dharampuri of Dhar district today.

 Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the programme through telephone. He thanked the guests for extending their support to the campaign. He said that this campaign has been started to rejuvenate mother Narmada. It has been converted into a social movement. People in large number are associating with the campaign. The campaign will help in removing social evils. Noted film actor Mr. Anupam Kher appreciated the development carried out in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Madhya Pradesh registered huge development. Impact of cleanliness campaign is visible in the state. Better road connectivity is in the state. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has started innovative campaign to conserve Narmada river. The campaign will certainly achieve its aims. Mr. Kher said that 'Save Girl Child' campaign has been run successfully in Madhya Pradesh. He said that the country is 'Vishwaguru' today also because of its rich culture and civilisation.

 Swami Mr. Shivanand Saraswati said that mother Narmada is main core of life. The existence of Narmada is from primitive time. It has its reference in Puranas. Reference of 'Narmada Parikrama' is available in the ancient scriptures. He said that mountains, trees and rivers are worth of worshiping and equal to the God in Indian culture. Mr. Saraswati said that balance utilisation of natural resources should be carried out. Appreciating Namami Devi Narmade campaign, he said that this is for cleaning and making the river flow continuous. It is responsibility of all to associate actively with this campaign.

 Chief guest of the programme, Anupam Kher administered resolution for associating with Namami Devi Narmade, making constant efforts for conservation of Narmada river and make society addiction-free. Pradip Pandey of Jan Abhiyan Parishad gave detail information regarding the campaign in the programme. Former Minister Vikram Verma, MLA Smt. Neena Verma, MLA Kalu Singh also addressed the programme.
