Science Clubs in 9297 Government Middle School of State

Bhopal: In order to develop scientific approach among the students pursuing studies in government schools and to apprise them about environment conservation, science clubs have been formed in 9,297 government middle schools of the state. As many as 4 lakh 65 thousand students have been linked to the science clubs so far. Science clubs will be formed in all the 30 thousand 432 middle schools of the state from academic session 2017-18.

Directives have been issued by the State Education Center to schools regarding science club. Competitions focusing quiz, debate, lectures and essay on science are being conducted through science clubs. Also information on forest sanctuaries, medicinal plants etc are being given to the students.-WTN
