Revenue of Rs. 4,260 Crore From Excise Auction Till Now
Bhopal: As many as 2,248 liquors shops have been auctioned through –e-tender process in the state so far. Revenue of Rs. 4,260 crore has been received till date through auction of liquor shops. A total of 3,617 liquor shops are being operated in the state. Auction of remaining 1,369 liquors shops will take place on March 7. An offset price of Rs. 2,437 crore 61 lakh has been fixed for these shops.
Around 17 percent more revenue has been received as compared to last year from auction of 2,248 liquor shops. E-Tender arrangements in the state have received a good response from the excise contractors. The e-tendering work is being carried out with the cooperation of State Electronics Development Corporation.-WTN
