Minister Gupta in Science Fair
Bhopal: Whatever searched earlier in India, are now being researched in the world. We find reference to Pushpak Vimaan and Brahamastra in our ancient granths. Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology Umashankar Gupta said this on the occasion of 6th Science Fair being organized at B.H.E.L. Dusshera ground. The Science Fair will be held till March 6.
Gupta said that all the rituals and traditions mentioned in our Shastras are based on scientific methods. He said that India has set a world record launching 104 satellites together. Gupta further mentioned that these kinds of science fairs are necessary to update people on scientific progress. He said that suggestions of scientists being given in the science fair will be followed by the state government. Gupta saw exhibition related to Brahmos missile including other inventions. He also inspected vehicle made by the students of L.N.C.T.

Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu gave a message thorough video on the occasion. Scientist Sudhir Mishra said that Brahmos missile has been made with cooperation of Russia. He informed that missile has a hitting range of 800 k.m. Organising Secretary of Vigyan Bharti Jayant Sahastrabuddhe informed about the works being carried out in science field. Tasneem Habib shed light on the objectives of science fair. Models of research conducted by the students on various subjects are being displayed in the fair. Also lectures will be delivered by subject experts during the science fair.-WTN
