Bhopal: Concrete and effective efforts are being made by the State Government to make youths self confident by linking them to employment through training in Madhya Pradesh. A target has been set to link 7 lakh 50 thousand youths annually with employment imparting them skill development training. Schemes like Mukhyamantri Koushal Sanvardhan and Koushalya have been started by the state government in this regard. It may be mentioned that Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) have been signed with 26 esteemed companies to link youths with employment providing them training in automobile, furniture and capital goods sectors. These companies in collaboration with various Industrial Training Institutes will provide employment to the youths. MoU was signed in Brilliant Convention Center, Indore during a day long Sectoral workshop.
Representatives of various private companies operating in the sectors of automobile, furniture and capital goods were present in the workshop. Discussions in detail were held with the companies in the workshop. They were apprised about the programmes being conducted by the state government in skill development field in detail. The representatives were urged to assess their need and train youths accordingly to fulfill their requirements absorbing them in employment.
It was informed in the workshop that Madhya State Skill Development Mission has been formed. Programmes are being conducted by the mission to impart training to youths with the cooperation of private companies. Moreover, the state government is making efforts to organize traditional work force to enhance their income by providing them skill development training. New changes will reflect in their lives after obtaining training certificates from prestigious companies.
Director Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission Sanjeev Singh informed about various schemes. The workshop was also addressed by Manager NSDC Arnav Dutta, Head of Quality and Standards Capital Goods Nirbhay Shrivastava, Smt. Alka Pandey of Automobile sector, Smt. Nitesh Vernali Basu of Furniture sector and Deepak of Ola Company.-WTN
