Association representatives meet Industry Minister Mr. Shukla

Bhopal: Representatives of Govindpura Industrial area led by former Chief Minister and local MLA Mr. Babulal Gaur met the Commerce, Industries and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla and apprised him with the area’s problems. The representatives’ team told him about their issues, which included rehabilitation of jhuggi-bastis, removal of encroachments, road construction and other development works.

Industry Minister Mr. Shukla said that the state government is always eager to encourage industries. He said that the government is determined to make adequate facilities available in industrial areas. Assuring them the Minister said that the problems of Govindpura industrial area would soon be redressed. A meeting would again be held in this connection after a month.

Apprising the Industry Minister with the problems of the area, association president Mr. Mukesh Sachdeva said that there is need to connect the industrial area with the road from Kolua to Bypass. He said that because of ‘no entry’ the traffic is affected. He also spoke about linking the area with Raisen Road via Roop Nagar. He urged the Minister to grant approval for the pucca road and Phase -2 works at the earliest. The team of representatives also urged him in connection with the jhuggi relocation and removal of encroachments.
